Biography
Amar Dedić (born 18 August 2002) is a professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Premier League club Newcastle United. Born in Austria, he plays for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.
Dedić started his professional career at Red Bull Salzburg, who assigned him to Liefering in 2019 and loaned him to Wolfsberger AC in 2021 and to Marseille in 2025. Later that year, he signed with Benfica. He then signed for Newcastle United in 2026.
A former youth international for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dedić made his senior international debut in 2022, earning over 30 caps since.
