Yandex has halted operations at a data centre in Vladimir, east of Moscow, after a Ukrainian drone strike damaged the facility. The company said no one was injured, but some services were unavailable to users.
It was the third attack on the Russian technology company's sites this week. Yandex said earlier that strikes on two of its five data centres had made it difficult to maintain services. It said it was working to restore connectivity at the Vladimir site.
Kyiv says it is targeting facilities that support revenue for Russia's war effort and that damage to Yandex sites could force Russia to divert resources to repairs. The attack comes as both countries intensify strikes on infrastructure in the fifth year of the war following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
