SportsLine’s model has released fantasy football projections and PPR rankings for Week 5 of the 2026 NFL season, along with start-sit advice.
The Chiefs and Panthers are on bye, narrowing the pool of available players. Ollie Gordon, Keon Coleman and Carnell Tate each had a 100-yard game last Sunday, making them options for managers weighing their Week 5 lineups.
Injuries further complicate those decisions. Lamar Jackson, Breece Hall, DeVonta Smith and Saquon Barkley have been ruled out, while Marvin Harrison Jr. is out because of a pending trade.
One notable call in the model’s rankings is a cautious view of Vikings tight end T.J. Hockenson, despite his top-10 standing among tight ends in fantasy points. The model simulates each NFL game 10,000 times.
