Zillionaire Doe and Headhuncho Amir performed together at Gilley’s Dallas on Saturday, reuniting two key figures in the New Dallas rap movement. It was their first joint performance since BigXThaPlug’s Birthday Bash.
Amir, Doe and Montana 700 helped launch the movement, which gained popularity in 2024 and has grown to include more than a dozen recording artists. The collective aims to move past the neighborhood rivalries that shaped earlier local rap conflicts.
During his set, Amir brought out Big Boi The Topic and Splurge and paid tribute to ZeeTheWizard, a fellow member who died in a January shooting. Doe performed songs including “Trap Motivation” and “Go Crazy,” the only one of his four releases this year that he played at the show. He also stopped to interact with fans and pose for photos.
