Zuccaly begins a soft opening on Thursday, October 8, at The Plaza Coral Gables. The 8,000-square-foot Italian food hall is a project of Da Silva Hospitality Group.
Inside are six food stations, an Italian market and a full bar. Restaurateur Erasmo da Silva, who is also behind Zucca and the revived Hereford Grill, is behind the project. Zuccaly offers a more casual experience than Zucca, with options including fresh pasta and Roman-style pizza.
For the soft-opening period, Zuccaly says it will open Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 8 p.m. It will be closed Monday and Tuesday. Although its website lists regular daily hours of noon to 11 p.m., the temporary schedule applies until a change is announced.
