FC Dallas secured a 2026 MLS playoff spot with a 1-0 win over the Seattle Sounders on Wednesday night.
Dallas reached the playoffs after 30 games, four fewer than it took last season. It is the club’s second straight postseason berth under head coach Eric Quill.
Goalkeeper Daniel made seven saves and recorded his second shutout of the season. Dallas had not beaten Seattle at home since May 7, 2022.
The win also left Dallas with a winning record in home games and away games in the same season, a feat it last achieved in 2010. That year, the club reached the MLS Cup Final.
