Miley Cyrus pushed back against criticism of her Friday show at the Hollywood Bowl while speaking to the audience at her second concert there on Sunday.
Friday marked her first live performance in four years. After videos criticized her for not singing every word of her songs, Cyrus told fans she had nearly decided against taking the stage again on Sunday. She rejected the suggestion that she had not put her heart into the performance.
Cyrus said performing no longer comes as naturally to her as it once did. She described the concerts as a way to test her own limits, with the audience making that experience possible.
