Collin Sexton appears set to make his Lakers debut against the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday after the team left him off its initial injury report for the game.
A strain in his right calf’s soleus muscle kept the guard out for the entire preseason. The Lakers also held him out of their opening-night victory over the Golden State Warriors as a precaution.
Sexton joined Los Angeles on a two-year, $19.2 million contract during the 2026 offseason. His absence from the injury report clears the way for his first appearance with the team.
