A man in his 70s died after being trampled by cattle while walking at the National Trust’s Felbrigg Hall estate in Norfolk.
Emergency services were called to the parkland near Cromer shortly before midday on Monday, 13 July. The man had suffered serious injuries and died at the scene despite paramedics’ efforts, the National Trust said.
Norfolk Police said officers are investigating alongside the Health and Safety Executive and that the man’s next of kin have been informed. The National Trust expressed its condolences to his family and friends.
A notice for Felbrigg Hall said the estate was closed on Tuesday. The estate includes a 17th-century country house, a lake and around 520 acres of woodland.
