The 2026 MLB Championship Series field is set: the Milwaukee Brewers will face the Los Angeles Dodgers for the National League pennant, while the Tampa Bay Rays meet the Cleveland Guardians in the American League.
Milwaukee and Los Angeles each advanced through the Division Series in four games. Both teams have three days off before their NLCS matchup.
Tampa Bay swept the New York Yankees, the only Division Series sweep this round. The Rays used three starting pitchers in that series and stole three bases. Cleveland took a different route, winning three straight games after falling behind 2-0 against the Chicago White Sox; two of those wins came on the road.
The two pennant winners will meet in the World Series, with that matchup expected to be settled by the middle of next week.
