A 63-year-old man was hospitalized Sunday after a boat propeller struck him in Norris Cut, outside Fisher Island Marina, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said.
FWC officers responded at about 11:09 a.m. Preliminary information from the agency indicates that the man was one of three adults aboard a 17.5-foot boat. He entered the water and was struck by the propeller while there.
The FWC is investigating the incident.
