A man died after being shot Friday night on a Potrero Hill block bordering Starr King Elementary School, San Francisco police said.
Officers responded to the 1100 block of Wisconsin Street around 8:38 p.m. and found the man with gunshot wounds. Paramedics tried to save him, but he died at the scene.
Police are investigating the shooting. The man’s identity and details about any search for the shooter were not immediately available. Anyone with information can call police at 415-575-4444 or text TIP411 with “SFPD” at the start of the message; tips may be anonymous.
