Todd Beamer beat Hazen 18-13 at Renton Memorial Stadium on Friday night, in what was Hazen’s final varsity football game of the 2026 season.
Both South King County schools had decided to end their seasons early amid concerns about having enough players to compete safely. Hazen district officials cited injuries, academic suspensions and players leaving the team. Todd Beamer administrators also canceled the remainder of their season, though the Titans still have a final game scheduled for October 26.
The game doubled as senior night for Hazen. Its marching band and cheer team also had a final chance to perform alongside the football team.
