Three children and a teacher were killed when a 16-year-old opened fire at an elementary school in Bend, Oregon, on Thursday. A community member shot and killed the attacker.
Officials said the children were aged five, eight and 11. The attacker lived in Bend, but has not been publicly identified.
After the shooting, buses took children to a nearby church where families were reunited. Some parents brought stuffed animals and other familiar items from home for their children.
