A man and a young woman died after an apparent shooting in the parking lot of a Lauderhill condominium complex Thursday night. Police are investigating the deaths.
The gunfire occurred around 11 p.m. at Hidden Forest Condominiums on Northwest 19th Street. Investigators said 23-year-old Adrianna McCray died at the scene and 23-year-old Yehuda St. Dic died at a hospital.
A relative of McCray said she believes the victims were bystanders and that a fight involving other people may have preceded the shooting. A man who said he was driving past reported seeing an argument and later hearing four shots.
It remains unclear whether the two victims were targeted or how they knew each other.
