Jude Bellingham has attracted 52% of goalscorer bets for England’s World Cup semi-final against Argentina on Wednesday, ahead of Lionel Messi on 34%, according to Sportradar.
The company, which processes betting tickets for 250 gambling firms worldwide, puts England striker Harry Kane on 11% of wagers in the same market. Those figures show where bets have been placed, not the players’ chances of scoring.
Bellingham has scored six goals at the tournament, including two in Saturday’s 2-1 quarter-final win over Norway and two in a 3-2 victory against co-hosts Mexico in the previous round. Messi has scored eight times for Argentina, while Kane has six goals for England.
