Rome Odunze’s potential role in Chicago’s passing game and injuries along Green Bay’s offensive line are key matchups when the Bears visit the Packers on Monday night.
Odunze caught six passes for 94 yards against the Jets after totaling eight catches in his first three games. In three career appearances against Green Bay, including the playoffs, he has 10 catches for 127 yards and no touchdowns. With a backup quarterback stepping in, Odunze and tight end Colston Loveland could see more targets.
Chicago’s defensive line, meanwhile, will face a Packers offensive line dealing with injuries to starting guards Aaron Banks and Jacob Monk. Green Bay has signed 36-year-old Kevin Zeitler, who could start. The Packers are averaging an NFL-low 58 rushing yards per game.
