The Atlanta Dream beat the Golden State Valkyries 97-71 on Wednesday night, taking a 2-1 lead in the WNBA Finals.
Angel Reese led Atlanta with 21 points and 12 rebounds. She has recorded a double-double in every game of the series, including a 30-point, 16-rebound performance in Game 2. Rhyne Howard added 16 points and five steals in Game 3.
The teams were tied at 49 in the third quarter before Atlanta scored eight straight points. The Dream, who earned their first WNBA Finals win in Game 2, will host Saturday's game at State Farm Arena. The league moved both Atlanta games there from the Dream's usual home, Gateway Center Arena, to accommodate a larger crowd.
