Gavin Collins, 42, from Cheshire, faces extradition to the US over allegations that he obtained indecent images of at least five toddlers from an American nursery worker.
An international arrest warrant alleges that Collins, a registered sex offender, conspired with the worker to produce images of children in her care and send them to him online. The alleged conduct took place between approximately 1 January and 28 February 2019.
Westminster Magistrates’ Court heard earlier this month that the National Crime Agency’s extradition unit arrested Collins while he was in custody in the UK for breaching a sexual harm prevention order. The allegations against him have not been established in court.
