Gavin Collins, 42, from Cheshire, faces extradition to the United States over allegations that he obtained indecent images of at least five toddlers from a US nursery worker.
An international arrest warrant alleges that Collins, a registered sex offender, conspired with the worker to produce images of children in her care and send them to him online between approximately 1 January and 28 February 2019.
Westminster Magistrates’ Court heard earlier this month that the National Crime Agency’s extradition unit arrested Collins while he was already in custody in the UK over a breach of a sexual harm prevention order.
